  Allison has been working in childcare for over 23 years and owns Little Acorns Day Nursery in Meltham, an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ setting in addition to Stepping Stones Day Nursery and Lepton Day Care. Allison is also a qualified assessor and internal verifier and has written numerous childcare books aimed at parents and students.

  I started as a nursery practitioner at Little Acorns in 2006 and have worked my way up to my current role as nursery manager and designated safeguarding officer. I have a NVQ level 4 in childcare and have my paediatric first aid.

  I have worked at Little Acorns since 2010; starting off as a nursery practitioner and working my way up to my current role as nursery manager. I have a BA Hons degree in Early years and have completed many training courses around special education needs and disability. I am a designated safeguarding officer for the setting and have my paediatric first aid.
